We're inviting students from across the globe 🌍 to submit their groundbreaking work on central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) stablecoins, and tokenized deposits πŸ’Ά.

All eligible theses will be rigorously evaluated by our expert panel, with the top three entries receiving prestigious awards and cash prizes at the DEA Thesis Awards 2024 ceremony! πŸ†

  • πŸ”¬Cutting-edge research on CBDCs, stablecoins, or tokenized deposits, including (but not limited to) their economic, technological, and policy implications, particularly in the Euro Area.

  • πŸ”₯Innovative  discussions on technological designs, use cases, business models, privacy considerations, open-source technology, programmability, acceptance, risks and opportunities, value propositions, offline payments, and citizen interest related to digital currencies.

  • πŸ› Theses submitted to academic institutions in English, covering the aforementioned topics.
