Call for Theses - DEA Thesis Awards 2024 🎓

The Digital Euro Association (DEA) is ecstatic 🎉 to roll out the red carpet 🛤 for the brightest minds in digital currency research with our 2024 DEA Thesis Awards! 🏆💡

We're inviting students from across the globe 🌍 to submit their groundbreaking work on central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) stablecoins, and tokenized deposits 💶.

All eligible theses will be rigorously evaluated by our expert panel, with the top three entries receiving prestigious awards and cash prizes at the DEA Thesis Awards 2024 ceremony! 🏆

🔍 We're Looking For:

• 🔬Cutting-edge research on CBDCs, stablecoins, or tokenized deposits, including (but not limited to) their economic, technological, and policy implications, particularly in the Euro Area.
  
  
• 🔥Innovative  discussions on technological designs, use cases, business models, privacy considerations, open-source technology, programmability, acceptance, risks and opportunities, value propositions, offline payments, and citizen interest related to digital currencies.
  
  
• 🏛 Theses submitted to academic institutions in English, covering the aforementioned topics.

🏅 Prizes at Stake:

• 🥇 First Prize: 1000 EUR 💶
• 🥈 Second Prize: 500 EUR 💶
• 🥉 Third Prize: 200 EUR 💶
