Digital Euro Association Partners with Nordic Blockchain Association

The Digital Euro Association (DEA) is excited to announce its partnership with the Nordic Blockchain Association (NBA), a non-profit organization promoting the Nordic region's largest professional Web3 network. This collaboration aims to foster innovation and shape the future of Europe's digital money and blockchain technology.

Founded in 2017, the NBA has been at the forefront of championing blockchain technology's responsible and sustainable growth in the Nordic region. The NBA's efforts are concentrated in three dynamic areas: Legal and Advocacy, Best Practices, and Industry Financing. Through dedicated steering committees, the NBA is committed to shaping supportive legislation, developing robust infrastructure, and fostering a vibrant ecosystem that unlocks the full potential of blockchain in the Nordics.

Through this partnership, the DEA will leverage NBA's expertise in blockchain dynamics to augment its ongoing efforts in promoting digital currency education and innovation, aligning with the DEA's mission to foster education, research, and collaboration in the field of digital currencies.

The collaboration will focus on several key areas, including sharing best practices among members, networking, joint innovation projects on applying novel financial technologies, and education about blockchain. Furthermore, this partnership will facilitate thought leadership contributions from policymakers and regulators, offering guidance for the industry.

Dr. Jonas Gross, Chairman of the Digital Euro Association, expressed enthusiasm about this new partnership. "While collaborating with leading digital currency think tanks globally, we are thrilled to now expand our partnerships to the Nordics. The Nordic Blockchain Association is a key player in this region and we look forward to a fruitful collaboration."

This partnership highlights a shared goal of advancing blockchain technology in the Nordic region and Europe, with a focus on promoting regulatory innovation, sustainable blockchain growth, and the responsible development of digital financial infrastructure. We have worked with DEA over the years and are now looking forward to taking it to a new and co-create more things in the future.
