Remote Office Administrator for the Digital Euro Association (20h/week)

Job Description Picture

We're hiring! The Digital Euro Association (DEA) is offering a 50% position as an Office Administrator (German: Bürokaufmann/Bürokauffrau, 20 hours/week) starting from September/October 2023 (or later).

Job description

We are seeking support for administrative tasks related to DEA's key activities: (1) education, (2) community building, and (3) fostering collaborations with a particular focus on stablecoins and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). The position does not require any specific content-related work or expertise. Instead, we are looking for someone who can ensure the proper administrative framework behind the scenes of the association, events, conferences, and other activities.

The tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • administration and management of DEA's accounting and financial records,
  • maintenance of the membership database and correspondence with members,
  • correspondence with authorities and tax advisors,
  • management of the association's logistical tasks and system organization,
  • maintenance of our CRM system and contract setup.

Ideally, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with experience in office administration. You should be able to take full responsibility for your tasks and organize your work in a completely flexible remote working environment. This is not an internship or student position, but a regular part-time position.

Requirements: Proficiency in German, professional-level English skills, background and experience in administrative office management (2+ years of relevant experience). Women, individuals of all genders, individuals with disabilities, and individuals of all ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Skills and experience you ideally bring: Residing in Frankfurt and surrounding areas (although 95% of the tasks can be performed remotely).

The gross annual salary corresponds to the usual industry remuneration for an Office Administrator.

Why a 50% position? Because we encourage our employees to pursue other activities with the remaining 50%, such as starting a business, freelance work, childcare, pursuing a master's degree, or a doctorate – whatever best suits your career and life.

The position is available from September/October 2023 (or later), initially for a period of two years. Please send your complete application (in a single PDF file; file size less than 5 MB) with your CV and cover letter via email to hr@digital-euro-association.de. For inquiries about the position, please contact the same address.
